Prior to his clinical training, Dr. Wong completed a PhD in Microbiology & Immunology at University of British Columbia with a focus on the pathogenesis of Tuberculosis. He received the CIHR Frederick Banting and Charles Best Doctoral Award. He then completed his MD, Internal Medicine residency and Clinical Immunology & Allergy subspecialty training at University of Toronto
He is a Clinical Associate in the Division of Clinical Immunology & Allergy at St. Michael’s Hospital. He is also a Senior Clinical Research Associate in the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Program at The Hospital for Sick Children. His research interests include food allergy, cannabis allergy and anaphylaxis.
