Welcome To Sussman Allergy
Sussman Allergy has been serving patients across Ontario for over 30 years. Led by Dr. Sussman, Sussman Allergy originated in a 3 storey home in the Forest Hill Area of Toronto at Avenue and St. Clair. We are currently located at a fully updated and accessible medical office building overlooking the Don Valley. The office comprises 3 entities:

Gordon Sussman Clinical Research
Forest Hill Laboratory
Sussman Allergy is located at 240 Duncan Mill Road, Suite 703, North York, Ontario, M3B 3S6.
You must pay for parking at the building. Parking can be paid for using the machines located on the first floor of 240 Duncan Mill Road, or using the Blinkay app. Please see the following for the building’s parking rates:
- 2 hours (minimum charge) – $4.00
- 3 hours – $6.00
- Daily max – $8.00
Please note that there is a pharmacy located on the main floor of the building. There is also a Life Labs located on the 7th floor, across the hall from our office.
Please be advised that physicians will only see patients who have pre-booked appointments. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
All new patients require a referral from an Ontario family doctor in order to book an initial appointment with one of our physicians. If you are currently a patient of one of the physicians in the office, a new referral from a family doctor is required every 2 years in accordance with Health Canada regulations. If you do not have have a referral dated within the last 2 years, we cannot book your appointment. We will require a new referral before we can book you in.

Remembering Gloria
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that Dr. Sussman and the entire Allergy and Immunology team mourn the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Gloria Belen Ventura Mirasol.
Gloria was not simply a nurse who worked alongside us. She was an important part of our practice family. Through her dedication, compassion, and genuine care for others, she touched the lives of countless patients and became a cherished part of our team.
Those of us who had the privilege of working with Gloria will remember her for the care she gave so generously, the relationships she built, and the presence she brought to our workplace each day. Her years of service reflected her commitment to her patients and to the people she worked beside.
Her passing leaves a profound void within our team. We feel her absence in the everyday moments of our work—in the conversations, the familiar routines, and the small interactions that made our workplace feel like a community. Losing a colleague who was also a friend reminds us how deeply the people we work with can become part of our lives.
As we grieve, we also want to recognize that everyone experiences loss differently. We encourage our team to be gentle with one another, to offer support and understanding, and to take the time needed to process this loss.
We are deeply grateful for the years Gloria shared with us and for the many lives she touched through her work and her kindness. Her dedication as a nurse, her compassion for others, and the memories she created with our team will remain with us.
Our deepest condolences go to Gloria’s family, friends, and loved ones. We hope they find comfort in knowing how much Gloria was valued, respected, and loved by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Gloria will be deeply missed. Her memory will remain in our hearts and in the legacy of care she leaves behind at our practice.
