A registered nurse for over thirty (30) years with twenty plus years being dedicated to Clinical Research. Is certified as a clinical research professional (CCRP-SOCRA) as well as being certified in Oncology (CON). Susi has extensive experience working as a clinical research nurse in clinical trials from healthy volunteers to phase IV and in a multitude of therapeutic areas both in the private sector and in hospital.

Sonia obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from York University in 2022. After completing her undergraduate degree, she joined Gordon Sussman Clinical Research Inc. as a volunteer, where she interacted with research subjects, conducted diagnostic tests, prepared subject compensation, and performed various administrative tasks. She also studied cannabis allergy as a volunteer. After gaining valuable hands-on experience in clinical research, she was promoted to the position of clinical research coordinator. She currently oversees clinical trials related to cannabis allergy, peanut allergy, atopic dermatitis, dermographism, hereditary angioedema, and chronic spontaneous urticaria.
